UberHub is the sum of every initiative, group and person driving innovation and technology in Uberlândia, Brazil — 28,000+ people connected for over 14 years.
They connect, mentor, teach and open doors. If you're in one community here, you're in all of them.
community of the year · startup awards 2025
In Uberlândia, communities aren't just WhatsApp groups or occasional gatherings. They are engines of connection, networking and bridge-building between newcomers, locals and those who've been there. Looking for a co-founder? You'll find one. Need mentorship? It's here. Want to learn? There's a place. Want to give back? There's a way.
There are 50+ active innovation communities, organized by technology, market, career stage or affinity. Dev meetups, founder circles, women-in-tech groups, AI, data, design, agtech and fintech communities. Each with its own leaders, rituals and agenda. This is the fabric that gives birth to events like Startup Weekend Uberlândia, hackathons and programming marathons. All connected by the same spirit: building together.
"It was in a meetup circle that Sapiens.agro was born — later named Brazil's Breakthrough Startup of the Year. That's how things start around here."
We are a volunteer network of restless people passionate about innovation, startups and Uberlândia — leaders, entrepreneurs and creators who believe in the power of human connection and collective action. We connect those who build, invest, hire and shape the city's future.
We are a collective of restless doers — people who decided to act instead of complain. UberHub belongs to everyone and, at the same time, to no one: it has no owner, no company registration, no titles — and never will. It is the sum of every person, community and initiative making Uberlândia innovate.
Here it doesn't matter where you came from or what badge you carry; what matters is how you want to contribute. We act with no flags, no parties, no politics — volunteers every single day, not every 4 years. That's 15+ years building bridges, backing entrepreneurs and opening life-changing opportunities without charging a cent. The culture stays simple: give first, help before asking; give back, when you receive, return it to the ecosystem.
UberHub Code is the technology education program of the UberHub Education Institute, built together with schools, companies and ecosystem communities. The mission is bold and public: introduce 21,000 people to programming logic by 2029 — for free, starting with those who need this gateway the most.
And the path is already showing results: 33+ medals at the Brazilian Informatics Olympiad, award-winning teams in challenges like the NASA Space Apps Challenge, and graduates working at big techs like Meta and Google. Each class feeds the ecosystem's cycle: learn, enter the market — and come back to teach the next one.

innovation pact · uberlândia
Before the Pact, Uberlândia already had restless people making things happen — communities, universities, companies, government and Sebrae, each pulling its own thread. What was missing was a common table to agree on the game plan. The Uberlândia Innovation Pact was born exactly for that: 35+ signatory institutions making public commitments to a single city agenda, inspired by movements like Pacto Alegre.
The way it works is radically transparent: goals declared in public, decisions made in the open, and projects any citizen can track. The Pact doesn't replace those already doing the work — it connects, unblocks and scales what the city builds together: from tech education to investment attraction, from open innovation with large companies to support for those just starting out. It doesn't replace. It doesn't capture. It doesn't centralize. It orchestrates.
Nvidia, Oracle, AWS, IBM and many more… eyeing UDI both as an investment destination and a place to work. That's R$ 12.5 billion in tech over the last 8 years, 100+ investment moves (rounds, mergers, exits and acquisitions) and Sankhya, born right here, acquiring 11 startups in 4 years.
R$ 6+ billion — the largest private investment in the city's history. The complex will span 1 million+ m², with capacity of up to 400 MW, liquid cooling and Carbon Zero operation.
"We chose Uberlândia for its startup ecosystem, the Federal University's support, and the city's water and energy capacity." Fernando Palamone · CEO, RT-One
and many more…
Uberlândia always struggled with density. Today there are 40+ coworking spaces, MTI (a Top 3 hub in Brazil), the Tech Park with hundreds of companies arriving, TecnoUFU bridging academia and market, an AI Hub in planning and the Setor Sul — UDI's own "Faria Lima".

UberHub Startups, the startup community of Uberlândia (Minas Gerais, Brazil), won the Community of the Year category at the Startup Awards in both 2024 and 2025 — making it Brazil's best startup community two years running. The Startup Awards is the prize of Abstartups (the Brazilian Startup Association), held during CASE, Latin America's biggest startup conference, with 16 categories, three voting phases and external auditing. The community grew out of a movement started in 2011 and has already impacted 350+ startups, of which 287 remain active, gathering a network of 25,000+ participants.

UberHub is the identity representing Uberlândia's entire startup and innovation ecosystem — the sum of 28,000+ people and around 300 players: entrepreneurs, communities, incubators, companies, educational institutions, startups, investors, government and support entities like Sebrae and Fiemg. The UberHub communities are the groups that bring this ecosystem to life day by day — Uberlândia has 46 mapped entrepreneurship and tech communities, each with its own focus, such as UberHub Startups for founders and UberHub Mulher for women's entrepreneurship.
No. UberHub is not a company, an NGO, an institution or a physical space — it has no owner, no board, no titles. It's the collaborative brand of Uberlândia's innovation movement: whoever innovates in the city is UberHub, paying nothing and asking no one's permission. Recognition comes from the members themselves, and the culture is give first and give back — help first and, when you receive, return it to the ecosystem.
It's the software developer training program run by the UberHub Education Institute together with the city's innovation ecosystem. The goal is to introduce 21,000 people to programming logic by 2029. Results so far include 33+ medals at the Brazilian Informatics Olympiad, young people founding startups, winning international competitions like NASA Space Apps, and working at local companies and big techs like Meta and Google. They are the ecosystem's thematic fronts. The main ones: UberHub Startups, the founder community named Brazil's best in 2024 and 2025; UberHub Code, free programmer training; UberHub Mulher, fostering women's entrepreneurship; and UberHub Produtos, one of Brazil's leading product communities — plus other initiatives born from the community itself.
It's the movement that brings together 35+ players — companies, universities, government and communities — around a shared agenda for the Uberlândia of the future. Inspired by Pacto Alegre, from Porto Alegre, it runs auditable projects with an owner, a status and a next step, and decisions are made in public.
